Tuesday

I'm trying for the life of me to get Alex to fall asleep on his own! I should have done this when he was a baby, but I coudlnt let him cry himself to sleep! )o: I'm such a wuss haha So now I have this almost 3 year old that cant fall asleep on his own. He has decided that his room is "sppoky" and he has a hard time staying in bed all night without crying. I feel bad and am tired, so either he comes into our room, or i lay down with him in his room for a little while. I know that's lame. But i just cant let him cry himself to sleep! I just cant! so if anyone has any suggestions that dont involve letting him cry himself to sleep please feel free to let me know! He doesnt nap all day so I know he is tired! oh well crazy kid haha

Monday

My internet at home was down yesterday, so I couldn't blog! Tragic I know! haha Anyway I went back to work on Monday after 2 weeks off! It wasn't too bad. Except for it being 32 degrees when I left! That was COLD!!!!! Brrrr The kids were nice and calm. I guess they needed the 2 week break (o:

We didn't do much yesterday except work, and make dinner. David decided he NEEDS to have roller-blades! Yikes! I am not that graceful on flat land now put wheels under my shoes! yikes! that would not be pretty! haha so since Alex got skates for Christmas I can help Alex learn to skate while David roller-blades.

It's been raining here since Sunday, so we probably wont be going to the snow this weekend. Maybe next weekend.... Oh well! We can go get our updated family picture taken this weekend instead! (o: We haven't had one done since Alex was about to turn 2! Slackers I know! (We take pictures as a family ALL the time, I mean professional studio pictures haha) I'm excited! (o:

Oh and PS. David sucks! He read an entire book in one night! Why can't I do that?! Oh yeah because I like sleeping too much to stay up until 2am reading! haha Weirdo!

Sunday

So, it was pouring when we woke up this morning! So I didn't think anyone would want to go to zoo anymore. So I just went back to sleep since David and Alex were still sleeping. At around 10:30 David and Alex finally woke up! Lazies! I told David it was sprinkling and probably wouldn't be a good idea to go to the zoo. He said it would be fun, and we should take umbrellas! So we invited Jenniffer, and she came with us! It didn't rain really hard, just sprinkled off and on, but we had a lot of fun! The zoo is so hard to enjoy in the 114 heat! Then we went to Fuddruckers (I have no clue if I spelled that right) anyway last time we went there I got a salad, and didn't like it, so I decided that I didn't appreciate that place! haha this time Jenniffer and David made me get a hamburger and it was soo good! Its was HUGE I only was able to eat half, but still feel overly stuffed! Anyway it was a fun day! I took pictures, but still need to upload them to my computer, and for some reason my cumputer doesnt like my camera and wont upload them, so I need my laptop! And I am WAY too lazy and my knee hurts so I'm not going downwstairs to get it! So I'll post pictures tomorrow!! (o:

Nine Year Anniversary

Today is David and My 9 year "dating" anniversary! We became an official couple 9 years ago!! Still happy and in love!! (o:

Saturday

We took Achilles to the vet today! He weighs 61.5 lbs!!! What a big doggie!!!

We are also planning on taking a trip to Flagstaff next weekend and staying there over night to play in the snow again! It was fun last year, and Alex has been watching shows that the characters are playing in the show, so he keeps saying "Lets go to the snow today!" So my parents, Alex, David and I are thinking of taking a trip there.

hmm what else. Today was such a "lazy" stay at home day. We did loads of laundry! And I figured out that my washer and dryers have a "Speed Wash" and "Speed Dry" setting so I was able to do like 7 loads in 3 hours! How awesome is that?!? Maybe I'll learn to like doing laundry this year? (Probably not!) Then we watched tons of movies, and then went to dinner with friends.

If it doesn't rain we're thinking of going to the zoo. We'll see! Oh and we need to take our Holiday decorations off before the HOA starts sending us letters! (o:

Happy New Years!

I can't believe it's 2009 already!! Hope everyone had a Happy New Years! We had a nice quiet New Years Eve. David, Alex and I went to my parents house and enjoyed a delicious BBQ of Carne Asada and Pork Chops (o: (MY dad seriously is the best BBQ-er EVER! Those of you who have been lucky to try it will probably agree!) Then my parents had some friends over, and David and I were able to hang out and watch hours of CSI since Alex went to sleep early! Then we rang in the new year and toated the new year wishing everyone a year full of Happiness, Love, and Money! haha I toasted for everyone to have another gainfully employeed year, David toasted for love and happiness of family and friends. Alex toasted "For more grapes!" haha My son cracks me up!

Anyway we wish everyone a lot of love, happiness, and money too! Also for a lot of traveling to see family and friends! We love you All!!! Happy New Year everyone!
