We took Alex and Gabe to the Peoria Sports Complex this morning for an Easter Egg Hunt kids event. They have different hunts for kid ages. So kids under they pretty much just throw a bunch of candy onto the baseball field and then let the kids run wild on the field and get as much candy as they could. Now the rules are that parents can walk on the grass with the kids, but CANT help them pick up any candy. So of course David followed the rules and other jerk parents were picking up the candy for their kids. Which sucks because that meant that the kids whose parents actually followed the rules only got like 3-4 pieces of candy. Alex didnt care though, he had a lot of fun. They had pony rides, train rides, bouncy houses, slides etc. He had a lot of fun! (o: Gabe just loves being outside, so he had fun too LOL

What a FUN outing!!! It always sucks that so many don't mind the rules (ESPECIALLY when it is the PARENTS misbehaving) . . . because it does suck a lot of the fun out of things from the parents/kids/families that DO mind the rules . . . But as annoying as that is, I am glad that Alex was blissfully unaware and having a great time . . .
Looks like there were TONS of fun activities . . . That really looks like a lot of fun!!!
Oh, and I must say that Alex looks VERY handsome in his little birthday outfit! ;o)
