Today I'm Thankful for my Mom!
I have a friend who is due to have her first baby in 2 days, and she is seriously stressed out beyond belief about child care. She is a single mom, and can't afford to not work.
So today I'm Thankful for my Mom that she is able to stay home and take care of my precious babies. Even if they are sick, I dont have to worry about them at all. Her unconditional love towards my boys (and the other kids she watches) is unbelievable! She is truly amazing!

Today I'm thankful to have a job. Yes some weeks are longer than others. But in this economy we should ALL be thankful for our jobs.
And in all reality, I really DO love my job. I love my kids this year they are amazingly smart and awesome! I just sometimes have weeks that drag LOL

Today I am Thankful that it's getting dark early outside.
That way I can convince Alex that it's bedtime earlier LOL Not that he's tired yet, but at least he starts to wind down and when he's calm down, Gabe starts to relax and settle down too LOL

Today I'm Thankful for having a wonderful husband who decided we should go out for dinner last night and try something new.
We went to an Italian Restaurant called "Carrabas" and it was so good! We live like 2 minutes away from it, and have seen it many many times, just have never thought about going. Well, its that time of year where we should remember what we are thankful for every day! I do a Gratitude Tree with my 5th graders every year. And this year is no exception. I have them reflect on their day and write one thing that they are thankful for. They were having a hard time at first thinking that I wanted some profound thought. Then I read them mine...
November 1, 2010... Today I am Thankful for remembering to bring extra shoes to school. Otherwise my knees would kill me by the end of the day!
