Delays, Heat, Weddings, Mean kids, Home sweet Home

This will be a post full of pictures and our entire California trip.

We started off on a good foot. We left out house at 6:30pm for our 8:30pm flight. We checked in and sat and waited, and since I'm nosey (ok ok better, I used my "teacher ears" lol) I over heard someone on their cell phone complaining that their flight was delayed 2 hours! So I told David I was going to go and check on our flight at like 7:45pm. Yup it was OUR flight that man was complaing about being delayed!! UGH! So I went and bought us books, and magazines, and Alex colored. Well coloring only lasted so long lol David decided he was going to tire Alex out by letting him run around the air port lol Yeah that didnt work. He just kept going and going. Crazy boy! So finally 10:50pm comes around and we are getting ready to board. We do and Alex and David are having fun (o:


We get to David's parents house and off to bed with Alex and I! We were tired LOL David went for a late dinner with Travis and Dustin.

The next morning we saw Sam and her kids for a few minutes before they left to pick up Brigham. We then went to pick up David and Dustin's tuxes and go to lunch. We had Matt and Sara's rehearsal and dinner to go to later that night.

We leave for the rehearsal later than we has originally said. And we 30 minutes late. But not everyone was there yet. So no big deal! (o:

We went to this Italian Restaurant, which even though the food was good, the place was definitely NOT kid friendly. Way crowded. But Alex behaved himself anyways. I had coloring books, and cars for him to play with. (o: It was nice to sit and talk with family.




The next day was Saturday. David's dad's friend had passed away, so they had his funeral to go to that morning. So I volunteered to watch Sam's kids so they could go and not worry about kids being bored or whatever. Did not go as easily as planned. The kids did not get along, and were being mean to Alex. Drove me CRAZY! Sam's son who is 2 (he's like 6 weeks older than Alex) threw a car at Alex and hit him in the mouth and nose, so Alex has a little bump on his lip, and a bruise on his nose. So that's when they went upstairs to take a nap. Mainly I needed a break before I ended up yelling at her kids. I hate being mean to other peoples kids. So I left it at that. I gave Alex a bath and let the kids come back downstairs to play. Ugh did not go well either. Still kept being mean to Alex. David and I had spent the week telling Alex not to hit people, and to be nice. So when some kid would hit Alex, he would just cry and come find either me or David. He wouldnt hit them because he's a good listener and remembered we told him not to hit. By Sunday night David was telling him to hit whoever looked at him funny. lol Still my sweet little boy wouldn't hit anyone )o: So he kept being bullied. Poor kid. Needless to say, he is happy to be home lol

Then later on we had Matt and Sara's wedding! It was so nice, and Sara looked so beautiful! Matt looked great too. The guys all clean up nicely! (o: It was really hot outside though! It was fun though. Alex had a great time, he was dancing and dancing and dancing all night long! My cute boy! I took Mark and Alex outside so they could play, and were being good playing and chasing each other lol Well here are some pictures!

California!

YEY We're going to California today!! (o: We are flying so we'll be there in a little over 1 hr! Better than 5 hours!!!!!!!

Father's Day

I am so slacking on these posts. It's a lot harder to try and blog when Alex wants to help! (o: So now that he's still sleeping I'll give it a try! (o:

Father's Day David and my Dad went early to pick up David's new TV. They spent the morning putting it together and setting it all up. I made them breakfast. (o:

Later on we took them Go Kart Racing. They had a lot of fun! (o: My brother came in 1st, David 5th and my Dad 10th! LOL David and my Dad were full of excuses on why they placed where they did lol

Feel the Burn!!

We went to Big 5 on Saturday, and Alex saw these 1 pound dumbells and started working out LOL It was so cute and HILARIOUS! LOL I had to share the video!!

I was cleaning up the front room the other day, and heard Alex cracking up, and went to see what they were up to, and David was reading him this book on Called "I Stink" about a trash truck lol It was so cute, I had to take a few pictures (o:

Girls Night

On Friday after my last day of school was officially done, Jenniffer, Brenda and I went out for dinner and to watch Sex and the City. I've seen like maybe 2 episodes of the show, so I didn't think I'd like it. But it was suprisingly good. We had dinner at Johnny Rockets too. It was a fun night! (o:

Busy Busy!

Since school has officially been out for a week, you would have thought that I would have more free time to blog! And I haven't even blogged since last Sunday!! Slacker!!! I've been super busy though!!!

Friday the 6th was our last day of school.

Monday-Tuesday we had to clean out our classrooms, and have a meeting before summer.

Wednesday-Friday- I had an ELL (English Language Learner) Training.

Friday, signed my contract for next year. I'll be teaching 6th grade! No combo class! YEY! I also got a nice raise and an AWESOME evaluation!!!!!!! I always hate when you get observed! So I thought I screwed up lol Glad she (principal) loved me!! YEY ME!

So for the next 2 weeks I have to finish the yearbook! The deadline is June 29th.

I also signed up to be a summer school sub. (o: So I suppose I could work if I want to.

I'm planning on going to California and spending time with family and friends there for a week this year. (o: Disneyland anyone?

YEY for Summer Vacation!!!!!

My Cute Car

So for the past few years I've been wanting a BIGGER SUV! Seriously I don't know why since it's only the three of us. It's good to have a bigger SUV when family from California come over so we could all around town in one car, but seriously that happens far less than we would have wanted. So that reason went out the window. Then I said because when we have another baby our car is too small for 2 car seats. But really it's not lol It will fit three. So really I didn't have a REAL excuse on getting a bigger SUV other than I WANTED one!

Now that the gas prices are OUTRAGEOUS! And it cost me $55.00 to fill up my tank when it used to be like $40! I've slowly changed my mind and decided that spending over $100 a week on gas for JUST my car is crazy talk! LOL So I decided to forget my search for the most perfect Tahoe, or Yukon, or any other SUV I've decided I liked lol

My Escape is PERFECT! LOL Perfect size, PERFECT color etc. Only thing I wish I could change was the rear A/C or lack there of anyways. It gets super hot in AZ, and my poor baby has to be in the back without A/C until the car gets cold! Poor thing! So if I could get a rear A/C put it, that would be even more Perfect! LOL

1:45-2:45- End of the Year Party / Clean up Room /Pass Out ALL graded work.

Alex's Room

Spring Concert

If you want to see my kid's during the Spring Concert the music teacher put them on YouTube! lol Mine are the 5th/6th class. The first during the video. The next part shows the 3rd grade I think. Anyway enjoy! they hated every minute of it, but I gave them a prize for coming! LOL

Sorry Guys!

I just realized that I only took 3 pictures of Alex's room!!! What is wrong with me?!? Must have been busy sorting his clothes, and arranging everything. Plus laundry, and a 2 year old "helping". So I'll take a ton of pictures when I get home, and post those. We still need to put his name up, and his cars up. I am loving having him in his own room again!! He slept fine on Saturday AND Sunday!
