I've been slacking on my blog... Again! I need to hurry and post this, because of the excessive heat our internet is
Having issues! Oh the joys of living in Arizona! Oh well!
Anyways, we've had a busy summer so far! We took care of our nephew Mark for two weeks. That was an adjustment for us.
Going from one kid to two the same age was an experience. All in all we had fun times, hard times, tantrums, giggles and tons
Of hugs. Alex and Mark had a lot of fun killing swiper the sneaky fox, and looking for bad guys. Playing and talking all day long.
We had Grammy and Grampa and Uncle Travis come and visit and spend time with us. We always have fun and love spending
Time with family. (o:
This week we had Aunt Sam and her kiddos come visit too. We haven't seen them since Matt and Sara's wedding
Last June! The kids are so big now! Alex loved talking to Ashleigh and playing with Dean. He also had "Special Time"

I also worked summer school! It was for 6 weeks, 4 hours a day. That was exhausting! I seriously don't know how I'm going to
Teach for 6 weeks full time before Gabriel is born! I'm worried about having the energy for 25 ten to eleven year olds! Ack!

Update
I had to take the 3 hour glucose test because I failed the 1 hour test. )o: I went on Friday morning and had my blood drawn 4 times! Twice from each arm! I looked like a druggie! LOL But thankfully I passed my 3 hour test! The SAME thing happened with Alex! I failed the one hour test and passed the 3 hour test!
I also have lost 32 pounds! WOW!!!!!!!!! I seriously don't understand HOW that keeps happening! I mean I don't LOOK like I've lost any weight, I don't really feel the difference. Other than the belly My clothes seem to fit a little looser, but no big drastic changes either! So my doctor told me that I need to drink Ensure Drinks 3 times a day to up my calorie intake. And if that doesn't help I'll have to take meds to regulate my weight loss. (Personally I dont see a problem with it LOL But apparently its not goo to loose that much weight while pregnant! Who knew?! LOL) Anyway I have a doctors appointment on August 5th so we'll see if these alleged Ensure drinks help out lol
I also have a vein in my leg that "swells" up causing my leg to swell and tingle. So I had another ultrasound on it to make sure it was still ok, and not DVT. Which it still looks the SAME. So no issues there. I may have to wear compression stockings if I am going to walk a lot or stand for long periods of time. But living in AZ where its like 104 at 8:30pm! I dont think I want to do that! LOL
Hmmm that's pretty much all the new news I have about my pregnancy!
Oh yeah I have 11 weeks left!! This pregnancy is flying by!!!!!!!!
Gabriel's heartbeat was between 145-150, which it has been the entire time. So he is growing nicely! My measurements were perfect for my due date too! I cant wait to meet this new little guy! I'm so excited!!! Of all the people's reaction towards Gabe's birth I'm the most excited about Alex's! I can't wait for them to meet each other! (o:

DVT and Glucose Test
So I do not have DVT! (o: I do have a vein that is not "right" lol so that is what is causing my leg to swell after I walk a lot or stand for long periods of time. It's close to my knee which is why I have knee pain all the time too! The joys! (o: But at least I don't need any meds or anything like that besides the occasional tylenol. I was also told to rest as much as possible and elevate my leg when I sit. So I will be getting a chair of some sort for work for the school year. And I already have a step stool under my desk that I can use to elevate my leg when I sit down. So its not too bad (o:
I also got a call from my doctor today, as expected I failed my one hour glucose test! Ugh I failed it with Alex too,so I wasn't surprised that I failed it. Excessive Heat Warning!
So the Phoenix are is under an excessive heat warning! It's supposed to be 114 today, and 117 tomorrow! FUN STUFF! They advise to stay inside and drink a lot of water and wear loose fitting light colored clothing. Good thing for Air Conditioning! (o: Maybe I'll take Alex to the movies to watch Ice Age today with my sis! Who knows! And um maybe get a pool set up in the backyard for Alex to splash around in later on. We are under the warning until 8pm! Oh being 7 months pregnant in 117 degree heat will be FUN!!!!!!

Here we go again!
So I've started this pregnancy with all sorts of weirdo crap. UTI's, potential kidney problems where I needed to get a renal ultrasound. More UTI's. Now for the past few weeks if I walk too much or stand up for long periods of time my right leg starts to swell on the lower part. So I mentioned it to my doctor and she was like "What?! Why didn't you bring this up sooner?! It could be DVT (deep vein thrombosis) which I believe is what Michelle had and what Matt has! I remember my leg swelling towards the end of my pregnancy with Alex, but my doctor wasn't concerned about it at all and said I should just lay on the opposite side and it would be ok. Anyway now I have to go back to the doctors tomorrow and get an ultrasound on my right leg to rule out DVT. She was telling me that I need to rest my leg as much as possible, and when I sit to elevate my leg. Also to try not to walk around for long periods of time! (haha I guess Sea World wasn't a good idea! LOL opps) So we'll see what happens tomorrow! (o:
Oh yeah the baby looks perfect! His heartbeat was 154bpm, and is about 2-2.5lbs right now. I also am down 25 lbs from my pre-pregnancy weight. Which I can't see at all! Random. So my thyroid will be tested too. I also had my 1 hour glucose test done today. The drink wasn't bad this time! Tasted like fruit punch with extra sugar. I remember the one I drank with Alex was fizzy orange crap lol So this wasn't too bad. I also failed my 1 hr glucose test when I was pregnant with Alex, and had to take the 3 hour test! GAG! So hopefully I pass this test this time! (o: I also start going every 2 weeks already! So I go back July 22nd, and every 2 weeks until I'm 35 weeks then every week. I can't believe how fast this pregnancy is going! (o:
Alex says he wants to buy Gabe "Pajamas and a little hat!" So I'm thinking I'm going to let him pick one out for Gabe and have it be his coming home outfit. (o: He also asked me yesterday in a very serious tone "Mama why did you eat my brother!?" lol I about died laughing! Crazy kid! He says the funniest things sometimes.

4th of July
We went to watch fireworks on 4th of July. I didn't take ANY pictures through out the day! Shocking I know! Oh well, here are the few that I did take! (o:Me and Alex

We went to California like 2 weeks ago, and took Alex and Mark to Sea World. The weather was perfect! It was about 75 degrees and there was a very nice breeze going on. It wasn't very crowded either! I was worried aboiut being 6 months pregnant and walking around all day. But I did fine, and we all had a lot of fun. We even got funnel cakes! YUM! I LOVE them! I was so proud of Alex, we had him in undies ALL day and he didn't have a single accident! (o;

Happy 4th of July

David pointed out that we have less than 100 days left before Baby Gabe graces us with his presence! I can't believe how FAST this pregnancy has gone by! I'm excited! We haven't done anything for his room yet! But since Alex was in our room for the first few months we have some time still! (o:
