Caught Up!

So since Alex refused to let me take a nap today, I decided to be productive! I got caught up. These posts could probably be better, but hey at least they are done! haha And now we can move on to new stuff! (o:

My Mom had a surgical procedure done today, and we had to be at the hospital at 6:30am! Ugh! So early! haha So anyway she is doing fine, and is resting at home now.

My washing Machine is fixed! When we looked up the cost of repair it came up to be WELL over $200! Ugh! But we HAD to get it fixed! Our laundry piles were taller than Alex! And I was tired of going to my Mom's house or buying new clothes for us! haha so Anyway the tech came and Alex was so funny, since he is very aware of strangers he kept telling me "Mom there is a stranger in the laundry room!" lol really loud so I'm sure the tech heard him lol Oh well! Anyway the tech said that the electrical pannel thing broke and that was like a $350 fix! Plus the $50 service call! Ugh! That's $400! Sheesh! So I was like Um ok! Then when he left he had me sign a piece of paper, and told me to have a good day the parts and service was under warranty so not to worry about paying anything! WOOHOO!!!!!!! So we saved $400 some odd dollars on getting our wahser fixed! I am so happy to have it fixed! And realized what about washing I hate! I hate sorting, and putting stuff away lol I don't mind putting it in the washer or dryer lol Oh well I like clean clothes! So that's a plus! I so took advantage of having my own washer and dryer! I've never had to go to a laundry matt or take my clotehs somewhere else to wash it. So this was a pain in the butt for me! It's not so easy lugging laundry, a 3 year old and a belly to and from my Mom's house! LOL So I am SOOOOOOOOOOO happy to have it fixed! Even happier to have it fixed and not have it cost us ANYTHING! (Makes me want to spend that money on something fun lol)

Hmmm Summer school started this week, and I have 16 kids. They are so quiet it's weird! LOL I give a lesson, and give them alone work and I dont have to yell 8 hundred thousand times to be quiet and get to work LOL But then again it's only the first week! We'll see if I still like them come week 4 lol

I am on the hiring committee since there is a 5th grade teacher position open, and they wanted my input. Anyway we have over 60 some odd people applying for 2 or 3 positions! So sad! So many people who are qualified and can't find jobs! Again I am thankful to have a wonder job that I love!

Anyway that's it for today! I need to fold laundry! LOL

Father's Day 5 days Early!

Alex went with me this year to buy David's Father's Day present, he even picked what color we should get. And he signed his card, and watched me wrap it up. He also saw where I put it, and kept taking it out saying he wanted to give it to daddy already! So I managed to keep it hidden for like 2 days. Then he finally had enough and DEMANDED that Daddy get his present THAT day! So On Tuesday David got to open his Father's Day Gift from his little boy!

Yup he got him a new iPod Nano 8 gigs black one. His old iPod shuffle died on him, so he needed a new one. Isn't Alex so thoughtful! (Haha notice their blankies on lol I guess being pregnant makes me turn the A/C pretty low and it gets cold for them in the house haha)
And it's funny now, because Alex keeps trying to convince me that Daddy needs MORE presents for Happy Father's Day! And Papa and Grampa too! lol

Camping 2009

This is probably the only time this summer I'll be going camping! It was fun and the weather was wonderful! Not hot or cold. Just perfect! (o: I didn't take many pictures because I was busy having fun haha Oh well! Anyway Alex had fun until Sierra decided she should throw rocks, and she threw one at the back of Alex's head, and gave him a HUGE bump that was all red and white! SCARY! He had a hard time sleeping that night and still does because laying his head down hurts. So we had to show him to sleep in his side. He says that Sierra isn't his friend anymore. And refused to play with her for the rest of the trip. Oh well! He'll get over it eventually! Besides that everyone had fun! There was a family in the next campsite over that had a little boy named Matthew who because Alex's best buddy for the entire time we were there. They played really nicely and shared nicely too! David talked to the little boys dad, and discovered that they live in Phoenix too! So when he told me (after the family left of course) I asked him if he got a phone number so we can get the boys together again, and he was like "DOH That would have been a good idea!" So they live in Phoenix somewhere and we cant get the boys together! Oh well! haha Anyway enjoy the pictures!!

Memory lane

We always go camping at the same place.

This was when Alex was about 3 months at the river.
(6/2006)

Here they are this past weekend. Alex 3 years old.
(Both David and Alex have changed SO much!)
(6/2009)

I have the ones from 2007 and 2008 on my computer upstairs, but am way too lazy to go up and look for them! lol

Splash Park

My friend Brenda found this splash park near our house. So we decided to pack up the kids and go. It was a lot of fun. At first Alex didn't want to go in without me, but since I was wearing jeans and getting jeans wet isn't a fun idea, I convinced him to go in with Brenda's oldest daughter Ili.

ili showing Alex that the water is fun.
Some jerk kid pushed Alex, so
Ili gave him a hug to make him feel better.
(Alex later kicked the kid lol ::sigh::)
They were having FUN! (Oh by the way
Brenda has 2 other kids, Sierra, and Adrian
who were both chicken and didn't want
anything to do with the water lol)

Alex and Sierra eating chips

My cute water baby!

Alex's golf game

Alex started his Golf Session 2 weeks ago, and Grampa was here to watch him (I'm lame and didn't take any pictures of Alex and Grampa! I suck!) Anyway he didn't like golf as much as soccer, but he has fun! And it wasn't even hot! So that was nice!

Coach Cameron teaching Alex how to
swing the golf club.
Daddy and Alex fixing the blubs. David was
Alex's caddy haha

Alex "WON" he was the first to get a hole
in like 10 lol

Daddy and Alex. Alex insisted he needed
to wear his hat backwards to be like Daddy!

Last Day of School / Science fair winners

These are horrible pictures of me, but oh well haha

Me and Carolina on the last day of school
Me and Jennifer

Me and Jonathan, Efren, Gerardo and Isaac

Ok, so we were in our school district's
Science fair for grades 5th-6th. There are about 30
different classes involved, and my cute kids won
1st and 2nd place! How AWESOME is that?!?
Yesenia and Ivette won 1st place for their "Candy Confusion" project
Salma and Carolina won second place for their "Glass vs. Plastic reflection" project!
I'm so proud of my kids! (o:

Alex's soccer game

David and I enrolled Alex in the YMCA's Itty Bitty Sports League. It's so cute! They go for 6 weeks, and play 3 different sports. They started with soccer which Alex LOVED! He learned how to properly kick the ball, and how to stop the ball, and most importantly how NOT to use your hands in soccer! The YMCA promotes parent involvemebt since the age group is from 2-3 year odls, and since I'm pregnant and cant run around David plays with Alex. They both LOVE it! Its so cute to watch them play! His coach's name is Coach Cameron and she is so good with the kiddos. Alex is like his Mom, and is a ball hog! Oppps! Anyway enjoy!

Doing his warm up excercises

He just kicked the ball

Their huddle at the end of the games. A lot of the
kids took off by this point! LOL there are more than 4
kiddos on his "team"

Kim's Party & Swimming

While we were in CA, we also went to Francine's parents house for a BBQ for Memorial Day. It was fun, and I'm glad we went. I kept trying to leave because it was getting so late, and Alex would tell me "Just 30 more minutes Mom" haha what happened to the 5 minutes thing? Anyway we had a lot of fun! (all of these pictures are in NO particular order! I just want to get them up and blog about them so there! haha)
They found a snail! UGH! And were playing with it lol
The mustang broke, so they were fixing it lol

Robert and Alex in the Mustang

While we were in CA in May Jenn and I took the boys to her apartments swimming pool. The boys had fun jumping in and splashing in the water. Alex LOVES playing in pools! (o:

Here are a few pictures from Kim's graduation party! I didn't take many, but you get the basic point! haha
