Argh!

Allergies and rainy day schedule suck lol

Allergies have been ndriving me nuts all day, add kids inside due to heavy rains equals a very crabby teacher who gave extra homework to shut kids up LOL

Im mean! Oh well! They need to learn who is boss LOL

Another phenomenon I dont understand

Why do some wives give their husbands so much credit for taking care of the kids? I swear a teacher at work was driving me nuts today! She went shopping this weekend and to a movie with her sister and some friends, and her husband was home with their 2 kids. And she kept going on and on and on about what a great husband he is for BABYSITTING the kids while she was out?!? And he even fed them! OMG! Isn't that NORMAL stuff husbands / dads SHOULD do on a regular if not daily basis for their kids? Or am I just lucky that this is stuff that David does every day?! I dont get it LOL

Since Gabe's beein born we've really split kid duty. I give Gabe his bath and get him to bed every night, and David does that for Alex. I dont have to tell David to change Gabe if he's peed and or pooped or if his clothes is dirty etc.

I dont understand why the dads are "ALLOWED" to get away with doing NOTHING for their kids while the moms have to do EVERYTHING?! I swear I have a friend that runs around all day after the kids while her husband hangs out watches TV and takes naps all day. I would be so beyond throwing shoes at David if he was like that!

Well my blogging everyday with a picture thing sucked LOL I totally forgot the rest of last week! Oh well!!

So can someone please answer this question for me?

WHY DOES ALEX INSIST ON WAKING UP 3 - 4 TIMES A NIGHT?!?!

You'd think it would be Gabe who would be waking up every few hours, but nope Gabe is a good little sleeper! He goes to sleep at 9pm, and wakes up at 4am to eat and goes right back to sleep! And stays asleep until like 8 or 9am!

Alex on the other hand, goes to sleep at 8:30pm, and wakes up at 11:30pm, and then at 2am, and then at 4:30am, and the complains when I wake him up at 6:30am! Ugh! This kid is throwing off my sleeping groove! )o: Oh well what can ya do? They havent invented the mute button on kids yet!

Kids... gotta love them!

Just because this picture CRACKS me up! LOL Gabe looks all freaked out like "MOM! I can't believe you are letting this kid hold me!" and Alex's smile is priceless so proud to be holding his baby brother! LOL
Gabe LOVES looking and chit chatting with Alex. Its so cute watching Alex try to calm Gabe down when he's being fussy or crying. And Gabe gives him such HUGE smiles! (o:

Gabe is starting to smile all the time now! He seems to know if something is in his face and a bright light shines at him he should smile! LOL So he does! I love it! David says if I'm not careful he's going to think his mom is a camera LOL

Janary 11th

Alex loves playing sports! So last spring / summer we signed him up to play at the YMCA Itty Bitty Leage. He LOVED it !

January 10th

This is an oldish picture (June 2009) but I just found it and thought it was cute. We were at a party and Alex had A LOT of fun playing with David in the water! He is definitely a water bebe!

January 9th

About 6 years ago, Kim and I went Sky Diving. It was fun and scary at the same time. Would I ever do it again?? Nope! It was a ONE time deal! I was way too much to loose now! January 8th

Alex LOVES to watch David play video games! He seriously can watch him play for HOURS! I dont know how he does it! I cant STAND watching him play for 5 minutes! LOL Anyway this is Alex's blue xbox remote lol He thinks he's playing when he has this remote. So David lets him play with it. Now Gabe is going to be a future little gamer too! Little nerds!!!

(Just for the record, NO I dont let Alex sit in front of the TV and play video games / watch TV all day, he plays outside, and inside with toys and runs around. I like him being active so he is!)

January 7th

Alex doesnt look happy to be in this picture lol but I was just thinking today that he is going to be 4 in 2 months! I can't believe it!! Seems like yesterday he was Gabe's age! Where did the time go?? I love this little guy so much! I don't think I'm ready to have him be THAT close to starting kindergarten! Makes so nervous to have him be on his "own" making all sorts of 5 year old decisions! SCARY!!! Ok I'm going to make myself cry if I keep thinking about him going to school! So I'm going to enjoy him being almost 4 until he starts school!

January 6th

Alex was in desperate need of a haircut! So we went and got him his very first salon hair cut! My Mom usually cuts it, but he has started being a menance and wants to dance and play around. So since he does better with strangers doing stuff (hair cuts, brushing teeth, pictures) we decided to take him to get his wild hair tamed! LOL He looks SO cute!! I love this kid so much!!!! He really knows how to brighten my day! I love his sense of humor, and the weird stuff he comes up with!

January 5th

I love my parents! I love that they don't go to movies without each other, or out to dinner or vacations. They always made (and still do) us feel safe and loved no matter what hard times they were facing in life during whatever time it was. They would and DO whatever they can for my siblings and our kids. They have been married for going on 32 years now! Just by looking at them you can tell they love each other dearly!! (o:

Most importantly, I love how they treat our kiddos. They love them so much! (o: And our boys ADORE them! (o:

January 4th

Alex loves riding his trike at my Mom's house. We spent a lot of time there this Winter Break. We got him a bike too, that is still in its box! Slacker Daddy hasnt put it together yet lol

January 3rd

Today is David and My 9 year anniversary of dating! Wow time flies! I sure do love that guy!

(And yes I realize I'm am SUPER short! LOL)

We got our family pictures taken on December 22nd. They were kinda hard to do because the kids didnt cooperate very well. Either Alex looked goofy or Gabe did. So we gave up trying to find a picture that they both looked good in, so we started just looking at Alex lol since no one expects a newborn to good "Good" in pictures lol
