Alex's Vocabulary

Alex has become a regular chatterbox lately. He will use complete sentences and everything! He is so much fun to have a conversation with!

Alex: "Mama, where is Dada?"
Me: "He is at work today."
Alex: (hands me my cell phone) "Dada should come home now and play."

I was dressing Alex in a shirt that Jenniffer got him that says "Auntie Rocks!" So I was going to put it on him yesterday.

Me: "Alex, come on lets pick out some clothes."
Alex: "Alright Mama"
Me: "Look, its a cute shirt Auntie got you!"
Alex: "That shirt is uuuggllyyyyyyyy"

He could be running around in a shirt and undies, and as soon as you tell him we are leaving he'll run around.

Me: "Come on Alex lets go bye bye"
Alex: "My shoes! Mama my shoes!"
Me: "Alex, how about your pants?"
Alex: "No Mama, my shoes!"

So Apparently he could run around outside pant-less but not without shoes lol

He wouldn't put his shoes back on in the car

Me: "Alex you need to put you shoes back on. How are you going to walk to Nana's house with out your shoes on?"
Alex: "I'll run Mama!"

Alex is allowed to watch either one show, or have 1 story read to him every night before he goes to sleep. You have to have him tell you how many shows, or how many books he's going to watch or have read. He'll put his little finger up and say "1 book Mama!"

If he wakes up in the middle of the night, he'll still say "I book Mama" LOL

Me: "Alex, Uncle Matt is coming to visit this weekend do you want him to go Trick or Treating with you?"
Alex: "Yes, yes, yes! I'm scared!"
Me: "You are scared of Trick or treating or Unlce Matt?"
Alex: "Trick or Treating Mama! Other Uncle saves me!"

LOL So Apparently Uncle Matt will protect him from Trick or treaters! LOL

My baby is so cute!!! Such a big boy!!

He is pretty much potty trained during the day. Some days are better than others. But he's going great!! He is so cute! I love him so much!!!!!!!

I forgot!

If you tell Alex "No wiggling" he'll wiggle even more LOL So we kept doing it, and of course as soon as the camera came out he wouldn't cooperate! LOL

He was being a menace! LOL Not even Auntie could stop him! (Um ignore my annoying voice! Or just mute the computer at this point lol)

Sorry they are both sideways. I can't figure out how to make them right side up.

Dinner

We went to the Macaronni Grill for dinner last night. We haven't been going out to eat in a while. So it was fun. Jenniffer came with us too (o:

Alex loves that you can color
on the "table cloth"

He LOVES the bread! Ate a bunch of it!
So by the time dinner came he said
"All done Mama!" and didn't eat anything else lol

Us. Can never get a nice smile out of
that boy! LOL (Haha nerd is wearing his
"I voted Early Sticker" lol Alex stole mine)

Alex and Auntie.
Alex was saying "Cheese" to Daddy lol

Lucky boy didn't even eat dinner and STILL
the waitress brought him ice cream!
He had like 2 bites lol

While we were chatting, he watched
his shows on Auntie's cell phone

He saw us having fun coloring on the paper
he decided to join us (o:

David wrote his and has the
arrow pointing at Jenniffer lol

David lost his debit card, and said he didn't
have any money to pay so Jenniffer
drew him a card LOL
He said he was going to rip it out and give
it to the waitress and tell her to give
herself a generous tip lol

Jenniffer is pointing at her
"Jerk Face" box that had arrows pointing
all the way to David lol

Ok, so we had a little too much fun after dinner! LOL

Fall Festival and Class Move

So we had our Halloween Party / Class Move / Fall Festival today. I was EXHAUSTED y the time I got home!

I had made my kids keep the class room as neat as possible so that Mr. Woessner wouldn't have to clean their mess. So they were so good at cleaning up. We had our party and they cleaned the class really good too! I was impressed. Then we started our move. Which with 36 kids helping, went really fast! I should have known WHY it went fast! They seriously threw everything all over the place! Books, and papers, and supplies everywhere! Jerks! lol And to top it off, Woessner left the classroom a complete mess! Cookie crumbs everywhere, chips, candy wrappers. Ugh! Seriously HOW RUDE! lol I told him, I was going to clean up teh room and throw the mess in his room! Oh well! I did "make" him move! So I had from 3-5:30 to try and get that monstrosity set and organized! Yeah that so didn't happen! I had to take pictures for the yearbook! So I would walk around and take pictures and "mingle" and sneak back into my class and work on setting it up! (I should have taken a picture of that mess!). So I got all the bulletins put on the wall, and my book shelves put up and organized. I need to go in sometime next week and organize the desks and vaccum the floor. I'm not sure in the maintence people will even touch my room, or if they are even working next week. So we'll see!!!!!!

Anyway the fall festival was so fun. The kids looked so cute dressed up. The teachers set up all sorts of different games and stuff like that! They had a salsa (dip, not dance) contest, and the salsa was so good! I love chips and salsa! Well anyway here are some pictures from the festival!

This is me, and Nancy. (she's in my class)
She looked so cute in her costume. I loved her eyelashes! lol

My friends, Aracely and Petunia.
They were in charge of the money and tickets!

From left to right. Angel, Ivette (behind Angel),
Carolina, Gerardo, Raymond, Vanessa
and Savier. They are in my class too.

Me and my friend Aracely.

This is my friend Kim, and Myrna, Kelssy and
Marina.

I have over 200 more pictures, but they are full of people none of you know, and or care about. So I left them out! LOL

Vent - the vent

I was all set to post an angry (yet again) vent about my co worker (Woessner, teaches 6th grade). My principal asked me yesterday if I could handle another student! UGH! 37! Is that even legal?!? LOL Anyway I told her "What is ONE more kid! I just don't have ANY room in my class!" Mr. Woessner teaches 6th grade, and has 26 kids in his class. His classroom is SO much bigger than mine. The principal suggested that I ask him to switch me classrooms. He would still have one of the bigger rooms, just not AS big as his current room. So during lunch, I asked him, and he told me "No, I like the big space for my projects!" I was thinking WHAT A JERK!!!!!!! My kids are like in a sardine can, and you want SPACE FOR YOUR STUPID PROJECTS?!?!? JERK!!!!! But I said "Um oh ok... Don't worry about it anyways. It's ok!" and I left! I was MAD!!!!!! lol So I talked to the vice principal today about it, and he told me "Yeah he does a lot of projects, so its probably convenience wise. Just stick it out until after Christmas Break" ARGH!!!!!!!! That's 3 more months of not being able to spread my poor kids out! )o: Oh well.

My principal just came in here and told me that Mr. Woessner agreed to move when she asked him this morning! I was like WHAT?!?!? He told me NO flat out yesterday! I told her she probably gave him the "look" lol So now even though it's inconvenient to move during the school year, today and tomorrow, we are working on switching our classrooms around. But at least my kids will have more space! I do loose my window lol but have an exit door now that we could leave open if it's nice outside. (o: YEY! I'm excited!!!!!!!!

Frustrated

So I was told yesterday that I have to administer a test to our ELD (English Language Development) November 12th-15th. It's no big deal, but I hate being told I have to do something instead of being asked to do it ya know? We had our staff meeting yesterday and it was like "Ok, so Tania is going to administer the test to 4th-6th graders" It was the first I had heard of it! LOL Umm random question here! Why cant the teacher that teaches ELD administer the test?!?! LOL Things that make you go hmmmm

Report cards are due tomorrow. They JUST told us today that we have to sumbit the online under a new system! Why couldnt they have told us this ummm last week?? I had already wasted my time bubbling in 36 report cards!! SOOOO annoying!!! I guess instead of blogging and complaining about redoing them, I should be doing them! LOL

::sigh::

Why isn't it Saturday yet????

On a happy note! Only 3 more days before Fall Break! YEY!

Yikes!

Its 10:39pm, and Alex just woke up WIDE awake! Ugh! Going to be a long night LOL

Alex's Costume

Alex is going to be Superman for Halloween. He isn't very good at dressing up. He doesn't like "different" clothes. He freaks out if you want him to wear a beanie or a sweatshirt lol So this was a challenge trying to get him dressed in his costume.

My lovin' Sis and I went out to find the best costume ever. We decided to bring him with us so he could have an input on his costume. Everything we showed him he said "I don't like that!" or "I don't want that" UGH LOL So we found thsi ADORABLE scarecrow one. I loved it! It was so cute and little kid like that he HAD to be a scarecrow! LOL But it was too small! )o: So we settled on a Pirate one that was cute too. He HATED everything about the pirate costume! He didn't want to wear any of it LOL So back to the store that one went. We found the Superman one, and it's a one piece suit, so we thought iut would be easier to put him in that than a few different pieces LOL. Well anyway he is a super cute Superman LOL

I went and made his Halloween Cards today. So check your mail boxes they should be there sometime next week! (o:

David being a HUGE Smallville Fan decided it would be cool to have Alex be infront of the buildings so he photoshopped it LOL

Holidays

With the Holidays approaching, I want to make sure everyone gets Holiday Cards from us. So if I don't have your address, or you aren't sure if I have your address or not, please send it to me. Gramma, Grampa and the Meow

There is construction starting across the street from our house. (There is an empty lot there right now). Anyway, the construction crew was there this morning, and I asked Alex "What do you want them to build there?" and he put his little finger up to his mouth and said "Hmmm" and thought about it for a few seconds and then decided "A Park Mama! With Swings and a wee!"(he calls the slide a 'wee'), so I said "That would be fun huh? What else should they put there?" and he went into his thinking mode again and said "Hmmmm Gramma, Grampa, and Grampa's meow!" LOL So I guess Alex needs a visit to or from Gramma and Grampa soon! (o: Oh and the cat too! LOL Crazy kid
I just felt like posting something today. I don't have anything to say or any cute pictures to post. Just wanted to blog.

I almost got hit by a car today!! It was so crazy scary! I was walking from my car to the front office (I had JUST gotten to work) and this Mom just dropped off her kids and was watching another car. I saw her face and knew she wasnt paying attention. I kept walking far from her car. She made a HUGE wide turn and I froze! I acually put my hand up and touched her car! (Like my hand was strong enough to stop a car! LOL) She was that close! She saw me and slammed on her brakes! Lucky for me! Dang how much would that have sucked?! To get hit by a car ON your way to work seriously! She jumped out of the car and appologized. The Vice Principal saw the entire thing and came over. He thought she hit me! I wanted to yell or punch her lol But I was just shocked. I doubt it would have killed me (lol that sounds funny) but she would have broken something. The vice principal yelled at her too. Seriously what if I was a kid who was just dropped off and ran or something?! She seriously would have hit the kid! I told the principal, and she was like "You should have come in and told me right away!" I was like "Um didn't you just see me walk in the door?!" LOL She wanted a despciption of the Mom so she could yell at her. I was like "I dont know what she looked like! She looks like all the typical hispanic Moms who come and drop their kids off. Tanned skin, Dark hair, in her PJs!" Ugh lol If I saw her again, I'd remember her though! LOL

On a different note. I LOVE Mondays-Thursdays LOL My kids leave for an hr a day Mondays they have Music, Tuesdays and Thursdays they have P.E, and Wednesdays they have computers! Friday is the only day I have them all day. Oh well lol

Weekend

I had today off because of Columbus day. I took advantage of knowing I was going to have Monday off to totally slack off this weekend. We seriously didn't do anything at all. We watched movies, and went to the park. Made meals, and just hung out at home. It was great! We had all of the windows opened and it was pretty nice outside all weekend. So nice that we snuggled up underneath blankies! It was great! We're pretty busy during the weekends that it was so nice just hanging out doing absolutley nothing. It was a great weekend. (o:

Today I'm catching up though LOL Doing laundry, and cleaning, while not ignoring Alex. He is currently taking a nap, so he is fine (o:

I am actually ready to go back to work tomorrow. I feel relaxed lol Now of course come noon tomorrow, I'll be ready for Saturday again LOL

I love Fall

Reason's I Love Fall

1. No more 100+ weather!
2. I could open the windows in the entire house, and it still feels really nice!
3. Long sleeved shirts
4. Cute feet jammies for Alex
5. Sweaters
6. Socks
7. Fall colors!
8. Means the Holidays are JUSt around the corner!!!!!!!

I love Fall! We've had our windows opened since around 10am and it feels so super nice! There is a nice breeze out too! If it were to stay like this ALL year long, I'd be in heaven!! David even took Alex to the park this afternoon! (o:

Finally!

I've been trying to change my layout background for a while now. Everytime I found a cute one and tried to change it, I wasn't able to! I was getting so irritated! So I'm so excited that I was FINALLY able to change it! YEY!!!! (o:

Cleaning cleaning cleaning!!

As a "condition" to get a motorcycle, David had to decide whether he'd get a bike, or keep the Mustang. He was NOT allowed to keep both! We don't have money for both LOL AND I want my garage spot LOL So he decided he'd get a motorcycle. So now he's going to take all the parts we bought for the mustang, and sell them on a mustang site. (o: YEY I'm excited to get rid of the mustang!! (I know that sounds horrible, but it's so expensive, and he never has time to work on it, so at this rate we'd have a broken car in our garage for the next 10 years!)

I'm also going to finish cleaning out Alex's closet! OMG that boy seriously has a lot of clothes! Sadly hardly any fit him anymore. He is so tall he needs 4T sized clothes now! He is not even 3 yet! The clothes fit him big at the waist, but he needs them for length! Anyway my friend Brenda is coming over to get clothes for her almost 1 year old. (I'm going to keep everything that is JUST TOO CUTE! Or unisex, JUST in case we ever have another baby!). I'm going to split the rest between Sam and Jenn and send it in November. Too bad my kid is the biggest! )o: Everyone gets free clothes and I have to buy more LOL (I'm mostly kidding, he'll get tons of clothes for Christmas, and his Birthday) Anyway I'm excited to get rid of clutter! (o:

YEY for um... fall cleaning?? LOL

Motorcycle

So David has been wanting to get a Motorcycle for a while now. He used to have one a few years ago, but since we moved to AZ, it was too hot for it to be his ONLY mode of transportation. So we traded it in and he got his Subaru. Anyway in November his brothers and Dad are going on a motorcycle trip from CA to AZ to TX. So David really really wanted a motorcycle. He decided that he wasn't going to get a bike, and maybe just drive his car behind the bike riders in case they got tired or whatever. Then his Dad rode HIS motorcycle from CA to AZ for a visit, and David just HAD to have one! So this past weekend we went to California and I went to watch Wicked, and David went and bought a motorcycle. His brother Travis, their friend Noah and their Dad rode halfway to state line with David. They had a good time. We stopped for lunch and they rode back home, while Alex and I followed in our car, David rode in front of us on his bike. He LOVED it!

David and his Dad went on a 60 mile trip at like 9pm!

Alex loves the bike too!

I love this picture of my happy guys!
(yes, Alex is wearing jammies lol)

Alex decided he wanted to sit on
Uncle Travis' bike too.

Birthday Party

This past Saturday, we went to my friend's daughter's 5th birthday party! Sierra is Alex's best friend so he was pretty excited to go and see her. They don't get to see each other very often because Sierra is in school now, and Alex is still with my Mom. So when they do get to see each other they have a lot of fun, and don't fight anymore! So that's good.

Yearbooks`

YEY!!!!!!!!!! The yearbooks (FINALLY) came!!!!!!! I saw it this morning, and even though I had limited pictures, and 3 weeks to do it, it doesn't look TOO bad! I'll take it to California for everyone to see this weekend! I'm excited!!!
