Thanksgiving Weekend

David's parents came over for Thanksgiving this past weekend! It was so nice having them around, and Alex loved playing with Gramma and Grampa! (o: Thank you so much for spending your weekend with us Mark and Sue! We loved it!!!

Well I made two turkeys! I got up early to prepare them and I put one in our oven, and had to take one to my parents house. So they would be ready at around the same time. David decided we needed 2 turkeys. We didn't even touch the second turkey!! Everything was delicious!! Mario made this awesome green bean casserol (I usually HATE it! I never eat it when people make it, but he makes it really really good!), Becky made mashed potatos and a variety of delicious desserts! My sister made a fantastic 7 layer dip! My mom made Rice O Roni (this is a Lopez family tradition! We HAVE to have it at every Thanksgiving!) Sue made an awsome stuffing. (Stuffing is another thing I never eat! Sue's is YUMMY!) Thank you everyone for sharing food, and time with us!! We loved it, and love everyone that was over (We love you even if you didn't come over too lol)

Happy Thanksgiving!

I will probably be busy tomorrow, so I'm wishing everyone a VERY happy Thanksgiving! I hope everyone is surrounded by family and friends they love! Also good food! Yum!

I absolutely LOVE Thanksgiving! Last year I made the Turkey, and everyone loved it! So my Dad decided that will be the new tradition! I bought our first turkey this year when we didnt think David's family would be joining us. So I only bought a smallish 12lb turkey! David insisted that wasnt enough! So I went and bought another one last night! So have 2 turkeys to prepare! I need to take one to my Mom's house so I could use her oven. I dont think I can cook two turkeys in one oven at the same time right? So I need to get some last minute stuff once I get home today.

I am sooo excited to celebrate with my family! I am excited David's parents are coming too!!!!

Having a cold sucks when you have 36 kids all day and have to talk when your throat hurts!!! I should have called in sick today! But alas the day of over and I'm going home!!

I was looking at the settings section of the blogging thing, and saw that you can notify people when you post a new blog! So I thought that would be cool LOL Little did I know it would send the entire blog as an email! I thought t would send a generic "Tania just updated her blog" thing! Opps! So I got rid of that! Sorry!!

Dentist...

So, we didn't have Alex's dentist appointment after all! I called to confirm that I had the right office, and they told me that they were having trouble verifying benefit coverage for him, and would call me back and let me know if his appointment was still going to be today! So its 2:15, his appointment is at 3pm, and I haven't heard anything. So I call them, and they tell me that they still cant get the info. and have requested it by mail, and should have it by Monday. But if I call and complain to them that it's an emergency for Alex to be seen, and yell at them, they will fax the info to their office! I was not going to lie to random strangers at the insurance office! It made me mad because I made the appointment 4 weeks ago! They had 20 business days to get the insurance information and they waited for the day of the appointment to try and get it! Lame! So I cancelled that appointment and looked around for another one. I found one, but they are booked until January! So now he has an appointment on January 13th, 2009! Oh well!

Anyone Know?

How do you add a new layout and everything to your blog without all of your "widget" things deleting????? It's so annoying! I cant figure it out! lol I keep having to add new things because I cant figure out how to save what I had already!

Mommy Brain!

Alex has his first dentist appointment today! I didn't write the office name, or the phone number anywhere! I had no clue where the office was or what it was called! I called like 10 different offices today trying to figure out where I made his appointment to!!!! I looked through my "Calls Dialed" section on my cell phone, and no luck! I was just about to make him an appointment at a different office, and wait another few months before he would be seen. Then I decided "Maybe for some reason I was smart enough to add the number to my cell phone address book!" DUH! I should have looked there first!!!!!! Argh! LOL So I'll try and take pictures of his first visit, and post some later! (o:

David and I have officially been married for 4 years today! We've been together for almost 8 though! Seems longer some days! I guess because we've been a couple for a lot longer than actually married! (o:

We aren't doing anything today, well because I was ever so nice and let him go to Texas on his motorcycle trip with his brother and Dad to visit his sister and her family!

So here I am at work lol (kids are at P.E! I love Tuesdays and Thursdays) and he is at the zoo probably! lol

We'll celebrate when he gets back! (o:

Nervous!

I'm a little nervous about David's motorcycle trip. I know he is (and will be) super careful, and safe. But that doesn't stop me from worrying! He was supposed to go with his Brother Travis, Dad, and friend Noah. But now Travis and Noah aren't going anymore. So it will be David, and his dad! I think they will still have fun, but I will still worry until David pulls into our garage next weekend!

He did it!!!!! Obama won!!! I am so excited!!!! This is the first election that I voted for someone and they won!!!!!

What a great lesson it will be tomorrow! My kids will be so excited!!!! (o:

Weekend

Matt and Sara came for a short visit this past weekend. It was nice. They got to experience Alex's chatterbox status! He loved reading and playing with "Uncle Matt!" I kept asking him if he could say "Aunt Sara", and he sid "Nope" I told him "Oh you are going to make Aunt Sara sad" and he said "No, she Happy! I do this pfft pfft pfft" lol I said "That will really make her sad!" and he said "I go like this" and did his happy feet dance! LOL Crazy kid.

Anyway they got there as Jenniffer and I were handing out FRUIT SNACKS! Hey my dad gave us TON of fruit snacks! And on contra ire to what Matt says, KIDS LOVE FRUIT SNACKS!!!!! We even ran out at one point! lol So there!!!

When Alex woke up at around 9pm! We decided we should go out to dinner since everyone was hungry. We went to On the Border! YUMMY!!!!!!!! Alex got to play with dough so he would behave, but Uncle Matt and Dada were the ones having the most fun! Uncle Matt let Alex walk around the restaurant at one point, and even showed him how to "Karate Chop" a napkin! (Which he HAS to do ALL the time now!!! lol)

We got back home pretty late and watched part of a show, and David and Matt ran to the store to get milk for Alex. Sara and I decided we should watch something "Halloween-ish" but were too wussy to watch ANY of the millions of ghost stories that were on LOL So we settled on "Are you Afraid of the Dark?" lol remember that show? "Submitted for the approval of the midnight society.." LOL I used to think that show was AWESOME! Its pretty lame now LOL Not even scary! Oh well! So we watched it and made fun of it until way past midnight. Then we decided it was bed time. Of course Alex said "1 Max Mama!" LOL Nope no Max's that night! Straight to bed!

We got up pretty late, and I had to take Alex to buy shoes since his shoes no longer fit him! We went and got shoes and came back and went to lunch. Then Matt, Sara and David decided to ditch me and Alex like a bunch of jerks and go to the movies! How rude huh? I'm glad their movie sucked! LOL Thats what they get for ditching me!! haha So Alex and I went home, and I did laundry and he colored, and played with cars and made a huge mess of toys. Then everyone came back, and Matt and Sara left to go visit Sara's Mom, and Uncle.

Sunday we didnt do anything. Alex and I went grocery shopping, and then stopped by my parents house and visited with them and my brother. David stayed home and took his Mustang apart so we could donate it! (I'm glad, he is not to glad! but he got a motorcycle! its only fair!!! I want to park in the garage!!!!!!!!! lol) Anyway we also finished laundry and watched movies. Fun weekend!

PS. Uncle Matt, Alex was very upset when he woke up asking "Where is Uncle Matt? I want to see him right now" LOL

Only 24 more days until Thanksgiving!!! I'm so excited! I love Thanksgiving! And the Black Friday sales too!!! WOO HOO!!! (Even if no one wants to join us this year!)
