Weird!

I think its so weird how your body gets used to eating at a certain time? Even on weekends and non school days, I wake up STARVING at like 7:15am! That is the usual time I'm on my way to work and eating breakfast lol And at around 12:00 pm I'm STARVING again! Then again at like 5pm I'm STARVING again! LOL I'm not just like hungry, I'm STARVING! My crazy stomach starts to grumble and everything! I need to start bring snacks to work lol

Birthday Party Planning!

I got Alex's invitations made last night!!!! I felt like such a huge dork too! LOL Jenniffer and I went to walmart and were looking at the invitation designs on the Kodak printer thing, and we saw these "Cars" design that was so cute! Then we decided to keep scrolling through the designs and saw a "Dora the Explorer" design and then I was like "OMG! If they have a "Go, Diego, Go" design it would be perfect! LOL So like the big nerds that we are we crossed our fingers! LOL And scrolled to the next page and saw 3 different Diego designs!!!!!! We were so EXCITED! Since Alex is so into Diego right now they were perfect!!! Oh the joys of being a mom and wanting to please your kids. So now that his invitations are done, Jenniffer PROMISED me she'd go to the post office and mail them off for me today! His party is like 2 weeks away! And his theme is Go, Diego, Go! My mom thinks I should invite my kids from school. I talked to the vice-principal about it, and he said as long as the kids parent goes, its no big deal. So I mentioned it to the kids today, and they were super excited. Makes them work towards something. I told them if they are being loud and annoying (lol) they were no longer invited lol So they are being super good. Anyway everyone should get their invitations by the middle of next week! YEY!

Snow Weekend!!

As I said in my previous post, David, Alex and I went up to Flagstaff this weekend! Alex has never seen the snow, so we thought it would be fun to take him!! I had the hardest time finding him snow boots here in Tolleson, and I was worried his little feet would be so cold. I bought him cute little hiking boots at Target, and some rubber rain boots just in case!! When we go to Flagstaff it was like 20 degrees!!!!!!! So we decided to stop by Walmart and see if they had any boots for him. We actually found some too!!! And David said we should get some boots too! So we did. Next mission was to find some water proof gloves! This was much harder than the boots! We went to dinner and saw a Walgreens, so we decided to give it a try! And we found some!! YEY! I got Alex regular gloves, and mittens. He didn't like the gloves, he thought his fingers felt weird, but he LOVED the mittens LOL He thought it was hilarious to walk around in his jammies and mittens LOL Weirdo kid!! Anyway, here are some pictures of us from our trip!!

We went to Flagstaff this past weekend! It was so much fun! I loved it!! It was so BEAUTIFUL!

2 years old!

I was just looking at my blog page, and noticed that in 3 short weeks, Alex will be 2 years old!!!! I can't believe how incredibly fast these past 2 years have gone! Where did my sweet little newborn go? He is now a talking, running, jumping, lovable sweet (And on occasion, tantrum throwing) toddler!!

My parents and David and I split the cost of Alex's birthday parties. This will be his second party! I cant wait! It does get kinda expensive so its nice of them to offer to help buy stuff too! (o: And since our backyard isnt done yet (Landscaped and everything), they even said we could have his party at their house! YEY!

I'm going to get his pictures taken at Picture People soon so I could send out his invitations!! I'm excited!!

No Eclipse For Me

I'm so sad! )o: Its raining and way cloudy outside, so I cant see anything! I wanted to record it and show it to my kids since we are learning about the sky in Science right now! It would have been so cool to see it! Oh well!!! I'm going to look for a video on the internet of it tonight and show them that!
