So my field trip to the Pueblo Grande was A LOT better than I thought it would be! (o: Here are some pictures!!!! All the good pictures have my students in them, and I dont want to post those online (o:
This is a Hohokam hut. Up to 3 families would live in one of these!!
Looks cool! What a fun field trip! I want to go on a field trip for work...although we'd probably end up touring the IRS offices or something and that wouldn't be very fun :)
I would TOTALLY love a field trip like that . . . I find Indian dwellings fascinating . . . I still want to go back to the Cliff Dwellings where they let you actually climb up inside (somewhere in either Arizona or New Mexico . . . we did it once on a family vacation on either the way to or from Texas). . . I am SO glad that it was more fun than you expected, because I know you were kind of dreading it . . .

ooooh, the IRS offices! Sign me up!!! You're so funny Mash.
On anohter note - your trip looks like it WAS fun, despite our worries about it... did the kids all behave okay, right off of spring break?
